A circuit for passive obstacle detection of a subway train comprises a detection loop and a monitoring circuit, the detection loop is powered by a tripper train through a circuit breaker, is connected with a normally closed contact of a tripper train cab activation relay, a left switch contact and a right switch contact of a head train and tripper train passive obstacle detection device, and then is connected with a head train cab activation normally open contact, and the tripper train cab activation normally open contact is connected with a tripper train cab activation relay normally closed contact and a tripper train passive obstacle detection device left switch contact and a tripper train passive obstacle detection device right switch contact. A parallel circuit formed by connecting a reset button, a cab activation pulse relay and a normally open contact of a detection relay is connected in series, and is finally connected to the two detection relays; and the monitoring circuit is used for monitoring the normally open contacts of the left and right switches of the detection device and the normally open contacts of the two detection relays by the network system. Compared with a host scheme, a reset train line is saved, wiring between the host and the detection device is not needed, and the circuit is simpler; a power module and a processor unit are not needed, the power consumption is smaller, and more energy is saved; the space is saved, the cost is reduced, and the reliability of a vehicle circuit is improved.
