The invention provides an air bag control method, an air bag assembly, an air bag folding method and a vehicle. The air bag assembly comprises a shell, an air bag and an air generator, the air bag is arranged in the shell, an air inlet of the air bag is communicated with the air generator, and the air bag is popped out of the shell when in an inflated state; the air bag comprises a limiting structure, the air bag is connected with the gas generator, the limiting structure is used for reducing the impact force on a front windshield of a vehicle and/or on-board equipment arranged on a center console of the vehicle in the unfolding process of the air bag, and when the air bag is in an inflation state, the limiting structure is used for limiting the air bag. A receding space is formed between the air bag body and the air bag connecting part and used for receding vehicle-mounted equipment. According to the embodiment of the invention, the air bag can bypass the front vehicle-mounted equipment when popped up, so that the protection effect on the front vehicle-mounted equipment is improved, and the impact force on the front windshield is reduced.
