The invention discloses an automatic parallel operation method for a large bridge crane of a hydropower station. The automatic parallel operation method comprises the following steps: establishing wireless communication; selecting a parallel operation state; automatically positioning the cart mechanism; the hoisting mechanism is automatically synchronized; the trolley mechanism is automatically synchronized; and monitoring a parallel operation state. The method has the beneficial effects that the electrified operation of hoisting and parallel operation of large pieces of the overhaul bridge crane of the hydropower station can be realized, the risk of high-place operation is avoided, and the parallel operation efficiency is greatly improved; by implementing the automatic parallel operation process of the bridge crane, the success rate of parallel operation is increased, so that the parallel operation time is shortened, and the unit maintenance efficiency is improved; by means of the method, the automatic operation function of the overhaul bridge crane is improved, and manual operation can be reduced; the method is high in universality, can be popularized to all hoisting equipment needing parallel operation of two or more hoisting equipment, and has wide application prospects.
