The invention discloses a roadside target sensing method and device and electronic equipment, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a current frame image collected by a camera of a roadside sensor, and obtaining the translation amount of a detection target in the current frame image; performing jitter compensation on the detection target according to the translation amount to obtain a pixel compensation coordinate of the detection target; according to the pixel compensation coordinates of the detection target and the imaging area of the camera, determining whether the detection target is located outside the imaging area; when the detection target is located outside the imaging area, a pixel position mapping relation corresponding to each pixel point in the detection target is obtained, and the pixel position mapping relation comprises a calibration mapping relation and a fitting mapping relation; and acquiring world coordinates corresponding to each pixel point in the detection target according to the pixel position mapping relation and the pixel compensation coordinates corresponding to each pixel point in the detection target.
