The invention discloses a back-up power supply system for rail transit in the field of rail transit. The back-up power supply system comprises a lithium battery pack, a circuit protection module, a BMS management module and a processing module, the lithium battery pack is used for supplying power to a high-speed rail power utilization end; the circuit protection module is used for carrying out self-protection on the lithium battery pack and comprises a power supply switching module for switching an external power supply or a connection channel between the lithium battery pack and the high-speed rail power utilization end and a switching value acquisition unit for acquiring power utilization data of the high-speed rail power utilization end and pressure data of a seat end; the BMS management module comprises a battery detection unit and a charging unit, wherein the battery detection unit is used for collecting current, voltage and temperature related parameters in the working process of the lithium battery pack. The processing module is used for converting the pressure data of the current carriage into the seating amount and calling personnel in the carriage based on the seating amount; therefore, the electric energy can be redistributed according to the working condition of the high-speed rail so as to prolong the continuous use time of the standby power supply.
