The invention discloses a maglev train, a braking control method and device thereof and a medium, and belongs to the technical field of maglev trains. The method comprises the steps that the running state of the maglev train is detected in real time; when the rapid braking signal is detected, whether the acceleration of the maglev train in the first preset time period is smaller than the minimum acceleration of the maglev train under the normal working condition or not is judged; if yes, an emergency braking signal is output, a traction system main circuit of the maglev train is controlled to be powered off, and whether the acceleration of the maglev train within the second preset time period is smaller than the minimum acceleration of the maglev train under the normal working condition or not is judged; if yes, the maglev train is controlled to fall and float. According to the method, the maglev train is controlled to be braked directly according to the actual running state of the maglev train in the running process, the running safety of the train is guaranteed through the unique falling and floating characteristics of the maglev train, and therefore the safety and reliability of the maglev train during braking can be further improved through the method.
