The present invention relates to a vehicle, the vehicle comprising: a memory configured to store instructions; and processing circuitry that is part of an advanced driving assistance system (ADAS) of the vehicle, the processing circuitry configured to execute instructions stored in the memory to: (502) determine a location of the vehicle; identifying (504) a hotspot location associated with a location at which a security-based alert previously issued by the other vehicle satisfies a predefined criterion; determining (506) a safe driving model (SDM) rule associated with the safety-based alert; and (508) generating one or more trigger signals based on the SDM rule and a location of the vehicle relative to the identified hotspot location, wherein the one or more trigger signals cause the ADAS (510) to adjust one or more SDM parameters of the SDM rule.
