The invention provides a short-time vehicle speed prediction method, a vehicle controller and a readable storage medium. The method comprises the steps that driving state sequence data and pedal opening degree sequence data of a target vehicle in a current preset time period are acquired; according to the driving state sequence data and the pedal opening degree sequence data of the target vehicle in the current preset time period, the probability value that the current driving style of the target vehicle belongs to each driving style type is determined; and the driving state sequence data of the target vehicle and the probability value that the current driving style of the target vehicle belongs to each driving style type are input into a pre-trained short-time vehicle speed prediction model to obtain predicted vehicle speed sequence data of the target vehicle in a future preset time period, and the short-time vehicle speed prediction model is an IndyLSTM neural network model. According to the invention, a short-time-domain real-time vehicle speed prediction effect with a small error can be realized.
