The invention provides a vehicle quiescent current abnormity monitoring method comprising the following steps: obtaining first voltage data of a storage battery, the first voltage data comprising a first voltage and a first time when a remote vehicle-mounted terminal collects the first voltage, the first time being a certain moment between a vehicle flameout state and a remote vehicle-mounted terminal dormancy state; second voltage data of the storage battery are obtained, the second voltage data comprise second voltage and second time when the remote vehicle-mounted terminal collects the second voltage, and the second time is a certain moment between the moment before the vehicle is started next time and the moment after the remote vehicle-mounted terminal is awakened; determining a unit voltage drop of the storage battery based on the first voltage data and the second voltage data; and if the unit voltage drop is higher than the voltage drop threshold, determining that the quiescent current of the vehicle is abnormal. According to the voltage change condition of the storage battery after flameout and before next starting, whether the static current abnormity occurs or not is determined, operation is easier than direct measurement of the static current of a single electric device, and the precision is high.
