The method comprises the steps that if it is determined that a collision risk target exists in front of a vehicle, an automatic emergency braking system is triggered to execute deceleration control; when the automatic emergency braking system executes deceleration control, if it is determined that the vehicle cannot be braked and the adjacent lane of the lane where the vehicle is located is a temporary lane, intelligent lane changing collision avoidance control is started; and controlling the vehicle based on the intelligent lane-changing collision avoidance control so as to enable the vehicle to successfully avoid collision with the collision risk target. By means of the method, when the automatic emergency braking system executes deceleration control and cannot avoid collision and identifies that the adjacent lane is a temporary lane, the intelligent lane changing collision avoidance control is started, so that the problem that collision cannot be avoided under the condition that the physical limit of braking efficiency is not exceeded is solved, and therefore driving safety can be ensured.
