Techniques for launching and landing drones from the interior of a vehicle are provided. Systems and methods for implementing an automotive drone deployment system. The automobile unmanned aerial vehicle deployment system can at least comprise a vehicle and a deployable unmanned aerial vehicle. The vehicle may have an internal sensor kit and a plurality of potential exit points for deployable drones. When multiple potential exit points are calculated, objects and occupants of the vehicle may be retained. A route may be selected from a plurality of potential exit points. The vehicle may provide trajectory commands to the drone to control the path of the drone. The commands may be received by the drone and implemented via a drone-based control system.
