The link mechanism has a drive unit (5), a driven member (50), a first power transmission mechanism (10), a second power transmission mechanism (15), and a transmission path switching unit (90). The driving unit generates a driving force. The driven member moves by the action of the driving force generated by the driving unit. The first power transmission mechanism transmits the driving force generated by the drive unit to the driven member at a predetermined reduction ratio. The second power transmission mechanism transmits the driving force generated by the drive unit to the driven member at a reduction ratio different from that of the first power transmission mechanism. The transmission path switching unit switches the transmission path of the driving force from the driving unit to the driven member to either the first power transmission mechanism or the second power transmission mechanism.
