A system for generating a floating three-dimensional image display within a vehicle includes an image chamber including a first display adapted to project a first image, a first reflector associated with the first display and a first occupant, a second display adapted to project a second image, a first reflector associated with the first display and the first passenger, a second reflector associated with the second display and the second passenger, and a light transmissive display positioned between the first reflector and the first passenger and between the second reflector and the second passenger, the first reflector being adapted to reflect a first image from the first display to the first passenger, and the second reflector is adapted to reflect the second image from the second display to the second passenger, and the light transmissive display is adapted to display information to the first passenger and the second passenger in an image plane positioned in front of the perceived first and second images.
