The method comprises the following steps: acquiring information of each dimension of a target vehicle; each piece of dimension information can comprise at least two items of vehicle personnel dimension information, schedule dimension information, in-vehicle environment sound dimension information and in-vehicle application state dimension information; determining a mode value of each candidate atmosphere lamp mode according to the relative importance between the dimension information and the relative importance between the candidate atmosphere lamp modes under each piece of dimension information; and determining a target atmosphere lamp mode from the candidate atmosphere lamp modes according to the mode values of the candidate atmosphere lamp modes. According to the scheme, the atmosphere lamp mode can be automatically determined, the target atmosphere lamp mode can be automatically switched, automatic adjustment of the atmosphere lamp mode is achieved, and then the atmosphere lamp control efficiency is improved.
