The invention belongs to the technical field of electric energy storage systems, and particularly relates to an optimization method and system for a fast charging station battery energy storage system, and the method comprises the steps: optimizing and building a fast charging station profit maximization objective function according to the cost of the fast charging station battery energy storage system; and calculating the electric quantity transaction conditions of the photovoltaic system, the energy storage system and the power grid and the battery charging power of each EV during the charging period of the electric vehicle through the battery energy storage constraint condition of the fast charging station and the profit maximization objective function. The fast charging station battery energy storage system is effectively operated through a control strategy, and remarkable economic benefits are brought; and meanwhile, the peak load of a low-voltage feeder line during charging of the electric vehicle can be reduced.
