Disclosed is a brake system of a vehicle, including: at least two electronic control units; each electronic control unit is connected to the corresponding wheel braking device through a braking communication bus; the first communication bus is used for transmitting real-time control information of the braking system between the two electronic control units; and the second communication bus is connected with the two electronic control units and used for transmitting maintenance information of the braking system, and the second communication bus is provided with an interface of external equipment. The invention also relates to a related method. According to the scheme, control and maintenance of the braking system can be efficiently and reliably executed.
