The invention discloses a construction method for enabling a heavy refrigerating unit to fall onto an equipment foundation in a limited space. The construction method comprises the following steps that the rectangular equipment foundation is poured on the indoor ground; the steel plate with the lifting lugs is fixed on one end face of the equipment foundation through expansion bolts; a chain block is arranged on the equipment foundation, and a hook of the chain block is hung on the lifting lug of the steel plate; a slope plate is erected on the end face of the equipment foundation, one end of the slope plate is supported on the equipment foundation, and the other end of the slope plate is supported on the indoor ground; prying top equipment is arranged at the bottom of the heavy refrigerating unit for angle adjustment and translation to the slope plate; after the heavy refrigerating unit is adjusted to the slope plate, a lifting hook of the chain block is hooked to the front end of the heavy refrigerating unit; and the pulling block is pulled in front of the heavy refrigerating unit so as to gradually fall on the equipment foundation. The method has the advantages that a hoisting point does not need to be arranged at a high position, and only simple tools and a small amount of manpower are used, so that the heavy equipment can be dropped on a foundation.
