The application discloses a method for power consumption control of a radar sensor of a roadside unit, the method comprising the following steps: acquiring first ambient environment data representing information about whether a dynamic target is detected in the ambient environment of the roadside unit by means of the radar sensor; acquiring a trigger signal for controlling the power consumption of the radar sensor; and executing a power consumption control measure of the radar sensor based on the first ambient environment data and the trigger signal. The invention also relates to a device for power consumption control of a radar sensor of a roadside unit, a roadside unit and a machine-readable storage medium.
