The method comprises the steps that the distance between the current position of a vehicle and an entrance of a target road where the vehicle is about to enter is determined; if the distance is smaller than or equal to the preset distance, acquiring first road information of an initial road on which the vehicle runs currently and second road information of a target road; determining an included angle between a first extension direction of the current position on the initial road and a second extension direction of the target road based on the first road information and the second road information; if the included angle is smaller than or equal to the preset included angle, determining a target rearview mirror based on the first road information and the second road information; based on the second extension direction, the angle to be adjusted of the target rearview mirror is determined, and the rotation angle of the target rearview mirror is adjusted. According to the embodiment of the invention, the rotating angle of the rearview mirror can be automatically adjusted before the vehicle drives into another road from the current driving road, so that the driving safety is improved.
