The invention relates to a vehicle steering early warning method, which comprises the following steps of: acquiring radar data of a surrounding environment of a vehicle, and analyzing the radar data to obtain obstacle information; whether the relation between the obstacle information and the target detection range meets a preset condition or not is judged, and if yes, steering early warning operation based on image guidance is carried out; the steering early warning operation based on image guidance comprises the steps that a target image of the surrounding environment of a vehicle is acquired, and a target segmentation area in the target image is determined; extracting a drivable area in the target segmented area by using an image segmentation model, and calculating a traffic proportion of the drivable area in the target segmented area; and carrying out vehicle steering early warning according to the traffic proportion. According to the invention, the steering of the unmanned vehicle is early warned through overall planning of various information sources, so that the safety and stability of the unmanned vehicle can be effectively improved, and accidents are reduced.
