The invention relates to an aircraft radial tyre having a radial carcass reinforcement (1) comprising a plurality of carcass plies (11, 12, 13, 14) consisting of textile reinforcement elements oriented substantially in the radial direction, the radial reinforcing elements of the carcass ply are composite cords comprising at least one aramid yarn, the breaking strength of which is FR measured according to the standard D885/D885M-10A (2014), these elements having a deformation of at least 4.6% and at most 6.5% when a force of FR/4 is applied. The reinforcing elements have a toughness of at least 80 daN/mm2 and at least one aramid yarn has a linear density of more than 210 tex.
