The invention discloses an effective path set acquisition method for a multi-mode traffic network. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, establishing each traffic mode sub-network: acquiring latitude and longitude coordinates of each node in a road network and an adjacency relation between the nodes; 2, connection between different traffic mode networks is constructed, wherein the connection relation between nodes is determined according to the distance, and the connection attribute is determined; 3, determining a generalized cost function of each traffic mode; and 4, obtaining n path schemes, obtaining the generalized cost of all directed arc segments on the path through an improved A * optimal path algorithm, and recording the path trend. And 5, returning the path set. According to the method, the path search of the multi-mode traffic road network is realized, the A * algorithm is used for improvement, and a plurality of optimal paths of multi-mode traffic travel within a specified number can be returned at one time.
