The invention relates to the field of mine hoisting systems, in particular to a buffer protection device and a control system for hoisting a cage in mine operation, which comprises a plurality of hoisting slideways forming a sliding track of the cage; the lifting sliding groove is vertically formed in the lifting sliding way, a lifting sliding block is slidably connected into the lifting sliding groove, and the width of the opening side of the lifting sliding groove is smaller than that of the lifting sliding block; a plurality of protruding structures are formed on the bottom wall of the lifting sliding groove and are vertically distributed at equal intervals. The adsorption assembly is fixed to the lifting slide way and used for adsorbing the cage when the cage falls; the elastic assembly enables the lifting sliding block to abut against or be separated from the multiple protruding structures in the lifting sliding groove. The connecting assembly is used for connecting the cage and the lifting sliding block, and the connecting assembly comprises a driving piece for driving the lifting sliding block to move towards the protruding structure; and the detection assembly is used for detecting the falling speed of the cage and the height of the cage. The device has the effects that the safety of personnel in mine operation is guaranteed, and the property loss during tank falling is reduced.
