The invention relates to automatic vehicle feature selection. A method of automatic selection of an operating mode of a motor vehicle feature includes receiving, via an electronic controller, an input signal transmitted by an input device, the input signal including at least one of a geographic condition and a temporal condition for operation of the motor vehicle feature. The method further includes setting, via the electronic controller, at least one of a geographic condition and a temporal condition for operation of the motor vehicle feature. The method additionally includes determining, via the electronic controller, a current geographic location and/or a current time of the motor vehicle. The method further includes comparing, via the electronic controller, the current geographical location and/or the current time to corresponding setup conditions. Further, the method includes selecting, via the electronic controller, an operating mode of the motor vehicle feature when the current geographic location and/or the current time matches the corresponding setting condition.
