The invention discloses a hoisting structure and a hoisting method for asymmetric steel beams. The asymmetric steel beam comprises a main beam and at least one side beam, the at least one side beam is asymmetrically arranged on at least one side face of the main beam, and each side beam is provided with a bolt hole used for being assembled with other steel beams. The hoisting structure comprises at least two hoisting lugs, the at least two hoisting lugs are fixed on the side surface of the main beam at intervals, and the hoisting lugs are positioned on the opposite side surfaces of the side beams; the at least two turnover lifting lugs are detachably mounted on the side beams; and the positions of the hoisting lifting lug and the turning lifting lug are determined according to the gravity center of the asymmetric steel beam. According to the hoisting structure, it can be guaranteed that the asymmetric steel beam is reliably overturned by the preset angle, so that connection with other asymmetric steel beams is achieved, operation is convenient, and safety and reliability are achieved.
