The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing a redundant power source and a storage medium, the method being executed by a computer of a device for diagnosing the state of a battery mounted in a vehicle, the method comprising the steps of: performing a discharge process for discharging from the battery in a predetermined discharge pattern; a step for diagnosing the deterioration of the storage battery when the first information obtained by the discharge process satisfies a predetermined condition; a step for estimating the internal resistance value of the battery on the basis of second information acquired at the time of implementation of the latest diagnosis that satisfies the predetermined condition, when the first information does not satisfy the predetermined condition; and a step for determining the state of the storage battery using the estimated internal resistance value of the storage battery.
