The invention relates to the field of automobiles, in particular to a vehicle braking and parking backup system and a parking control method. The system comprises an air storage module which is communicated with an energy storage spring air chamber through an air conveying pipeline, and the energy storage spring air chamber is used for driving a vehicle to execute a parking action; the EPB electromagnetic valve is arranged on the gas conveying pipeline, and the EPB electromagnetic valve is used for cutting off or conducting the gas conveying pipeline; the electric control module is arranged on the gas conveying pipeline, and the electric control module is used for cutting off or conducting the gas conveying pipeline; and the EBS controller is connected with the EPB electromagnetic valve and the electric control module, and the EBS controller is used for detecting the working state of the EPB electromagnetic valve and the working state of the vehicle. Parking is electrically controlled, the EBS controller is adopted to control the electric control module to serve as parking redundant backup in the automatic driving mode, and the reliability is high. Furthermore, according to the scheme, backup is achieved without additionally arranging a controller, and the cost is low.
