The vehicle energy management method in the vehicle sentry mode comprises the steps that under the condition that the vehicle sentry mode is started, whether a storage battery of the vehicle meets the starting condition of external energy power supply or not is preferentially detected; and under the condition that it is detected that the storage battery meets the starting condition of power supply of the energy outside the vehicle, the energy outside the vehicle is started to charge the storage battery, so that the storage battery supplies power to a sentry mode control system. Therefore, the power consumption of the whole vehicle is reduced, the feed of the storage battery is avoided, and the influence on the new energy endurance mileage is reduced.
