The invention relates to a damping mechanism for a vehicle seat and the vehicle seat, and the damping mechanism comprises a mounting part which is used for being connected to a seat basin framework of the vehicle seat, and the surface of one side of the mounting part is provided with a first concave-convex structure; the rotatable part is rotatably connected to the mounting part and used for being connected to a backrest framework of the vehicle seat, and a second concave-convex structure is arranged on the surface of one side of the rotatable part; when the external force borne by the backrest framework is smaller than a preset value, the damping mechanism is not started, and the first concave-convex structure is embedded with the second concave-convex structure at the initial position; when external force borne by the backrest framework is larger than or equal to a preset value, the backrest framework drives the rotatable part to rotate, the second concave-convex structure circumferentially extrudes the first concave-convex structure and deforms until the rotatable part rotates by a preset angle and stops, and the second concave-convex structure recovers deformation and is embedded with the first concave-convex structure at the next position. According to the damping mechanism, different damping requirements can be met, and meanwhile cost control and space arrangement are facilitated.

    本发明涉及一种车辆座椅用阻尼机构及车辆座椅,阻尼机构包括:安装件,其用以连接于车辆座椅的座盆骨架,安装件的一侧表面设有第一凹凸结构;可转动件,其可转动地连接于安装件且其用以连接于车辆座椅的靠背骨架,可转动件的一侧表面设有第二凹凸结构;当靠背骨架承受的外力小于预设值时,阻尼机构未启用,第一凹凸结构于初始位置与第二凹凸结构相嵌合;当靠背骨架承受的外力大于等于预设值时,靠背骨架带动可转动件转动,第二凹凸结构周向挤压第一凹凸结构并发生形变,直至可转动件转动预设角度而止停,第二凹凸结构恢复形变并于下一个位置与第一凹凸结构相嵌合。本发明的阻尼机构,能够满足不同的阻尼需求,同时还有利于成本控制及空间布置。
