The invention discloses an exhaust method of a ship reliquefaction system. The exhaust method of a ship reliquefaction system of the present invention provides in a reliquefaction system: a pressure compensation line bypassing a heat exchanger at a downstream side of a compressor so as to be connected to an upper portion of a gas-liquid separator; and a nitrogen gas cover line for supplying nitrogen gas to the pressure compensation line such that when the reliquefaction system fails, the nitrogen gas is supplied to the pressure compensation line through the nitrogen gas cover line and the nitrogen gas that has been supplied to the pressure compensation line is sent to a downstream side of the compressor so as to pass through the heat exchanger along the reliquefaction line, thus, the compressed gas and the re-liquefied gas filled in the heat exchanger and the re-liquefaction line are exhausted, and at the same time, nitrogen purging is performed.
