The invention provides a ship propeller installation method. The ship propeller installation method comprises the following steps that a propeller is placed on a ship propeller installation moving platform; the ship propeller mounting moving platform is laterally moved to an approaching position from the width direction of the ship by laying a track, and then the ship propeller mounting moving platform is moved to a corresponding position; the installation of the propeller is realized through the high-low and left-right adjusting function of the ship propeller installation mobile platform. The movable platform is mainly composed of a frame base platform structure, a fixed supporting bracket, a movable supporting bracket, an up-down adjustable structure, an adjustable supporting head and an up-down ladder, a frame base meets the requirement for the installation distance of multiple ship propellers, and the adjustable supporting bracket mainly meets the requirement for placement of propellers of different models. The steel structure of the up-and-down adjustable structure meets up-and-down accurate positioning during installation of the propeller. The ship building efficiency is greatly improved, the dock period of a company is shortened, and large economic benefits are generated.
