The method comprises the following steps: after a starting operation on a desktop in-vehicle unit DHU is detected, acquiring environment temperature information of an environment in which the desktop in-vehicle unit DHU is located; if it is determined that the environment where the desktop vehicle machine DHU is located meets the working requirement of an independent GPU based on the environment temperature information, a first starting parameter matched with the independent GPU is determined; obtaining a to-be-displayed image, calling a dynamic library corresponding to the independent GPU based on the first starting parameter, and performing 3D rendering processing on the to-be-displayed image to obtain the to-be-displayed image after 3D rendering; and displaying the to-be-displayed image after 3D rendering in a vehicle-mounted terminal interface of the desktop vehicle-mounted terminal DHU. According to the method, the display processing capacity of the automobile is improved, and the increasing display rendering requirement of a user can be met.
