The invention discloses a thermal runaway heat dissipation system and method for a power battery of an electric vehicle and the electric vehicle. The thermal runaway heat dissipation system comprises an air conditioning system, a battery heat dissipation device and a motor heat dissipation device. The battery heat dissipation channel is connected with the motor heat dissipation channel through a valve; and when the thermal runaway of the power battery is detected, the valve is controlled to be opened, so that the battery heat dissipation channel is communicated with the motor heat dissipation channel, and the motor water pump is controlled to pump the cooling liquid in the motor heat dissipation channel into the power battery for cooling. The thermal runaway of the power battery can be effectively controlled, and a flame retardant or liquid does not need to be added, so that the energy density of the power battery cannot be reduced due to the targeted design of the thermal runaway, and the endurance mileage of the power battery is ensured.

    本发明公开了一种电动汽车动力电池的热失控散热系统、方法及电动汽车,所述热失控散热系统包括所述空调系统、所述电池散热装置和所述电机散热装置;所述电池散热通道与所述电机散热通道通过阀门连接;当检测到所述动力电池发生热失控时,控制所述阀门开启,使所述电池散热通道与所述电机散热通道连通,并控制所述电机水泵将电机散热通道内的冷却液泵入至所述动力电池内进行降温。本发明可以有效控制动电池热失控,并且不需要增加阻燃物或液体,使得动力电池的能量密度不会因为对热失控的针对性设计而降低,保证了动力电池的续航里程。
