A tire test method according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first measurement step of measuring [mu]-S characteristics of a test tire by a first tire test device that causes the test tire to travel along a road surface while the test tire is in contact with the road surface; a second measurement step of measuring [mu]-S characteristics of the test tire by a second tire testing device that rotates the test tire in a state in which the test tire is in contact with a road surface provided on the outer periphery of the rotating drum; a comparison step in which the [mu]-S characteristics measured by the first tire testing device and the [mu]-S characteristics measured by the second tire testing device are compared, and the relationship between the [mu]-S characteristics is obtained; a characteristic conversion step of converting the [mu]-S characteristic measured by the second tire testing device into the [mu]-S characteristic of the first tire testing device in accordance with the relationship between the two [mu]-S characteristics; and combining the [mu]-S characteristic measured in the first measurement step with the [mu]-S characteristic obtained by conversion in the characteristic conversion step to obtain the [mu]-S characteristic of the test tire.
