The invention provides a driver car-following characteristic identification method and system. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a car-following track data set; speed information and position information of a front vehicle and a rear vehicle in each vehicle following track are extracted, feature parameters of each vehicle following track are calculated, and all the obtained feature parameters are subjected to normalization processing; performing principal component analysis dimensionality reduction on the normalized feature parameter data set; clustering the principal component analysis data set to obtain a plurality of car-following characteristic categories of the driver; a to-be-recognized driver car-following track is obtained, feature parameter extraction and matrix operation are sequentially carried out, the principal component value of the to-be-recognized driver car-following track is matched with the clustering center, and driver car-following feature recognition is completed; the method is high in classification precision and low in algorithm complexity, driver characteristic recognition can be achieved only through position information and speed information, the requirement for a sensor is low, and cost can be effectively saved.

    本发明提供一种驾驶人跟驰特性识别方法和系统,方法包括:获取跟车轨迹数据集;提取每条跟车轨迹中前车和后车的速度信息和位置信息,并计算每条所述跟车轨迹的特征参数,对获取到的所有特征参数进行归一化处理;对归一化后的特征参数数据集进行主成分分析降维;对主成分分析数据集进行聚类,获取驾驶人的若干种跟驰特性类别;获取待识别的驾驶人跟驰轨迹,并依次进行特征参数提取和矩阵运算,将待识别的驾驶人跟驰轨迹的主成分值与聚类中心进行匹配,完成驾驶人的跟驰特性识别;本发明分类精度高,算法复杂度低,仅需要位置信息和速度信息即可实现驾驶人特性识别,对传感器的要求也较低,能够有效节约成本。
