The present disclosure provides a hybrid vehicle that controls a fuel injection point in time when an engine start is required, thereby improving fuel efficiency, and a drive control method of the hybrid vehicle. The drive control method of the hybrid vehicle may include: suppressing engine injection when an engine start request exists and a control entry condition is satisfied; executing engine injection when an injection permission condition is satisfied in a case where engine injection is suppressed; and performing reaction force control along with engine injection through a first motor directly connected to the engine.
