A battery exchange control method includes: a step for receiving, from a user of an electric vehicle (10), a request to register a specific battery exchange station among a plurality of battery stations (20) (battery exchange stations) as a master station; and a step for determining a first reward to be given to the user when the user uses the master station in order to exchange the battery of the electric vehicle (10). The determining step includes a step of making the first reward larger than a second reward given to the user when the user uses a battery station (20) other than the master station for exchanging the batteries of the electric vehicle (10).
