The method comprises the steps that a root machine arm rotates and is folded, a center large gear on a machine body chassis drives a folding gear on the root machine arm to rotate, and the purpose of rotating and folding the root machine arm is achieved; the front-end machine arm is telescopically folded through meshing transmission of a telescopic gear of the front-end machine arm and a telescopic rack of the root machine arm, so that the front-end machine arm can be retracted into the root machine arm; and the rotor blade is folded by driving the worm gear at the root of the blade to rotate through the rotation of the worm in the rotor disc, so that the rotor blade of the unmanned aerial vehicle can be folded downwards in the axial direction. Wherein the root arm, the front-end arm and the rotor system can be fully automatically folded to adapt to the internal space of the lander, so that the cost of a rarefied atmosphere terrestrial planet exploration task is greatly reduced, and the exploration efficiency is improved.
