The invention relates to a vehicle power battery monitoring wake-up circuit and a control method, the vehicle power battery monitoring wake-up circuit comprises a storage battery, a manual switch, a first switch, a second switch, a first diode, a second diode, a monitoring system and a low-voltage power supply control module, the manual switch is a mechanical power supply main switch, the first switch is an electromagnetic relay, and the second switch is an electromagnetic relay; the storage battery and the monitoring system are connected and electrified through parallel connection of the manual switch and the first switch, and the first switch can be controlled by the low-voltage power supply control module to be switched on and switched off. As long as the low-voltage power supply control module identifies the key signal, the charging signal and the clock signal to perform logical operation and output the wake-up signal, the monitoring system can be powered and waken up, so that continuous monitoring for a period of time after the vehicle key is powered off and charged is realized, and the safety of the vehicle is improved.
