The invention relates to a user interface device and a tactile presentation article. The operation receiving member (11) includes a first region (111) and a second region (112). The detection unit (12) detects an operation caused by a user's contact with the operation reception member (11). The first region (111) has formed therein at least one of a concave portion and a convex portion that imparts a first tactile sensation to a user. The second region (112) is configured so as to provide a second tactile sensation different from the first tactile sensation to the user. The appearances of the first region (111) and the second region (112) are consistent when viewed from the same direction.
