The invention provides an energy management method and system for a fuel cell hybrid electric vehicle, and belongs to the technical field of fuel cell hybrid electric vehicles, and the method comprises the steps: carrying out the comprehensive analysis of the storage battery loss, fuel cell loss and external factors of the vehicle, and building an energy loss function model; the method comprises the following steps: analyzing driving data of an automobile, dividing the driving data into different driving styles by using fuzzy logic, and establishing a hybrid electric vehicle controller; constructing a fitness function based on the energy loss function model and the driving style, and performing iterative processing on parameters in a hybrid electric vehicle controller by using an improved artificial bee colony algorithm and combining the fitness function to obtain optimal parameters; and energy management is carried out. According to the scheme, parameter optimization can be conducted on the hybrid electric vehicle controller through the improved artificial bee colony algorithm, the fitness function is constructed through the energy loss function model and the driving style factors, fuel and electric quantity losses can be reduced to the maximum extent, and the overall service life of the system can be prolonged.
