The invention provides a rotating speed control method and device for a new energy vehicle. The method comprises the steps that accelerator opening degree information of the vehicle and historical dynamic rotating speeds corresponding to at least two distributed motors respectively are obtained; the historical dynamic rotating speed is the rotating speed of the distributed motor at the last moment; determining steady-state target rotating speeds corresponding to the at least two distributed motors on the basis of the accelerator opening degree information; for each distributed motor, determining a target dynamic rotating speed of the distributed motor based on a steady-state target rotating speed of the distributed motor and a historical dynamic rotating speed of the distributed motor; controlling the historical dynamic rotating speed of each distributed motor to be updated to the corresponding target dynamic rotating speed until the rotating speed of the distributed motor is updated to the steady-state target rotating speed; wherein the time required for each distributed motor to update from the historical dynamic rotating speed to the steady-state target rotating speed is the same.
