The invention discloses a paddle-rudder system for a wave glider, and relates to the technical field of wave gliders, the paddle-rudder system comprises a steering engine system, a propeller and a follow-up rudder; the steering engine system comprises a shell, and a linear motor, a gear, a rack, a limit position switch, a Hall sensor, a linear displacement sensor and a control system which are arranged in the shell; the linear motor is used for driving the rack to move linearly, the gear is in meshed connection with the rack, the gear is in transmission connection with the servo-actuated rudder through the magnetic coupler, and the Hall sensors are matched with induction magnets on the servo-actuated rudder to measure position information of the servo-actuated rudder; the propeller comprises a brushless motor and a folding blade, the output end of the brushless motor is in transmission connection with the folding blade through a magnetic coupler, and the linear motor, the limit position switches, the Hall sensors, the linear displacement sensor and the brushless motor are all in signal connection with the control system. According to the invention, the propulsion efficiency and performance can be improved, irreversible damage to the system during overload is avoided, and the course can be accurately controlled.
