The invention relates to the technical field of traffic control, in particular to a road traffic state prediction method and system based on multi-target tracking, and the method comprises the steps: detecting a vehicle in a video through an improved YOLOv8 model, obtaining the related feature information of the vehicle, distributing a vehicle ID through a DeepSORT multi-target tracking algorithm, and tracking the vehicle; the method comprises the following steps: firstly, carrying out vehicle counting and vehicle average speed evaluation, and finally, judging whether a road is congested according to the vehicle average speed and the traffic flow, combining the improved YOLOv8 with a DeepSORT algorithm, and carrying out traffic flow statistics, vehicle average speed evaluation and road congestion condition evaluation by using a lightweight network, so that the computing resource demand is reduced, and deployment in various hardware environments is facilitated.

    本发明涉及交通控制技术领域,特别涉及一种基于多目标跟踪的道路交通状态预测方法及系统,先使用改进后的YOLOv8模型检测视频中的车辆,获取车辆的相关特征信息,再采用DeepSORT多目标跟踪算法分配车辆ID并对车辆进行跟踪;然后对车辆计数和车辆平均速度评估,最后依据车辆平均速度和车流量,判断道路是否拥堵,将改进后的YOLOv8与DeepSORT算法相结合,使用轻量级网络进行车流量统计、车辆平均速度和道路拥堵情况的评估,降低计算资源需求,便于在各种硬件环境下部署。
