The invention relates to the field of deployable structures, and particularly discloses a bistable-state folding and unfolding structure based on Sanpu origami, the bistable-state folding and unfolding structure comprises four panels and four flexible hinges, the flexible hinges are connected between two adjacent panels, the sum of the heights of one group of oppositely-arranged hinges is equal to the sum of the heights of the other group of oppositely-arranged hinges, and the flexible hinges are arranged on the panels. And the height difference of each hinge needs to avoid a four-hinge over-constraint mechanism condition. The bistable folding and unfolding structure provided by the invention has good rigidity in a complete folding state and a complete unfolding state, the steady-state rigidity is improved through geometric constraint of the structure, and a redundant locking device is not needed; when the bistable structure deforms and crosses the middle energy potential barrier, the bistable structure can be automatically driven to reach the other stable state, and the bistable structure has the advantages of being simple in driving, capable of being repeatedly folded and unfolded and high in degeneracy.
