The invention relates to a method for autonomous service of an aircraft, and a service panel, an aircraft and a system for providing autonomous service of an aircraft. The present disclosure relates to a method for serving an aircraft (300) by a ground service unit (200). The method comprises: reading (510) a wireless parameter signal from a transponder (325) at the aircraft (300); decoding (520) the wireless parameter signal to derive at least one aircraft parameter of a water supply system (310) and/or a waste system (312) of the aircraft (300); moving (530) a service device interface (222) to a service panel (320) of the aircraft (300); connecting (540) the service device interface (222) to a coupler (321, 327) at the service panel (320); serving (550) the aircraft (300) via a service device interface (222) corresponding to the at least one aircraft parameter; and writing (560) the service parameters into a transponder (325) at the aircraft (300).
