The invention discloses a tooth surface structure, a rack and a machining method, the tooth surface structure comprises a tooth top surface and two side tooth surfaces on the same tooth, the two side tooth surfaces are arranged on the two sides of the tooth top surface respectively, the side tooth surfaces are both provided with meshing convex surfaces, the meshing convex surfaces protrude from the side tooth surfaces in the direction away from the side tooth surfaces, and the meshing convex surfaces are arranged on the tooth top surface. A clearance is formed on the periphery of the meshing convex surface; by arranging the meshing convex surface, the contact surface when the rack is meshed with the pinion is reduced, and the clearance is formed on the periphery of the contact surface when the pinion is in contact with the tooth surface of the rack, so that meshing interference between the pinion and the tooth surface of the rack is avoided, tooth surface friction resistance during meshing movement with the pinion is reduced, and steering operation is easier.

    本发明公开一种齿面结构、齿条及加工方法,包括同一齿牙上的齿顶面和两侧齿面,两所述侧齿面分别设置在所述齿顶面的两侧,所述侧齿面上均设置有啮合凸面,所述啮合凸面由所述侧齿面以远离所述侧齿面的方向凸出,以在所述啮合凸面的周边形成避空间隙;本发明通过设置所述啮合凸面,减小了齿条与小齿轮啮合时的接触面,且当小齿轮与齿条齿面接触时在接触面周边形成所述避空间隙,避免小齿轮与齿条齿面的啮合干涉,减小与小齿轮啮合移动时的齿面摩擦阻力,更易于转向操作。
