The invention relates to a fault diagnosis method and system, a terminal and a computer storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a vibration signal collected by a vibration sensor fixed in a propeller, and decomposing the vibration signal into a plurality of modal component signals; transforming the plurality of modal component signals, and determining a time-frequency spectrum of the vibration signal; and determining fault information of the propeller according to the time-frequency spectrum of the vibration signal. According to the fault diagnosis method and system, the terminal and the computer storage medium, the vibration sensor is fixed to the propeller, the modal component signal of the vibration signal is determined, then the time-frequency spectrum of the vibration signal is determined through conversion, fault diagnosis can be carried out on the propeller through the time-frequency spectrum of the vibration signal, and the fault diagnosis efficiency is improved. The propeller fault diagnosis efficiency and accuracy are improved.
