The invention discloses a method and device for selecting an automatic cruise speed limit value, equipment and a storage medium, and belongs to the technical field of vehicle control. The method comprises the steps of reading a first speed limit set value on a first speed limit guideboard in response to the fact that the first speed limit guideboard exists in the driving direction of a vehicle; reading a second speed limit set value of the current road section in the vehicle-mounted navigation map and a third speed limit set value of the current road section in the high-precision map; comparing the first speed limit set value, the second speed limit set value and the third speed limit set value to obtain a first comparison result; and determining a speed limit value of automatic cruise of the vehicle based on the first comparison result. The most accurate speed limit set value of the current road section is determined according to the first comparison result of the first speed limit set value, the second speed limit set value and the third speed limit set value, the most accurate speed limit set value serves as the speed limit value of the automatic cruise of the vehicle, and it is ensured that the most accurate speed limit set value is adopted as the speed limit value of the automatic cruise in different road sections. And the safety and compliance of automatic driving are improved.
