According to the invention, the base station group path information is determined according to the congestion value of each road grid and the base station information of the candidate user connected with the base station group corresponding to the road grid, and then the road section congestion direction is determined according to the base station group path information. Compared with an existing mode of judging whether the road is crowded or not and determining the congestion direction through video recognition, the method has the advantages that network transmission resources and computing resources of the server are effectively reduced, and the road section congestion analysis efficiency is improved.
